Located in the city-center of Maastricht, The
Netherlands, this renovated 15th century monastery of the crutched
friars offers you a breathtaking synthesis of a veritable gothic
exterior with a sleek, dressed-down modern interior. The 60-room, all
unique created by interior designer Henk Vos Maupertuus, Kruisherenhotel
complex consists of the original monastery as well as a gothic church.
The nave now houses the reception area, the lobby and several hotel
facilities , including conference rooms, a library and a coffe bar,
while Catholic icons have been replaced with furniture by names
including Philippe Starck, Le Corbusier, Gerrit Rietveld, Marc Newson
