Marie Blanco Hendrickx aka Mijn Schatje is a 22 year old hot illustrator and graphic designer based in Paris. This half dutch and half spanish girl is a recent double graduate from Art and Graphic design in Beauvais and Amiens, France. She's an active participant in the Parisian electro scene, where she's creating many LP and CD covers for record makers and electro shock labels, and flyers and posters for Popnotpop and Electrochock parties. Her work is pure, poetic and sophisticated. She's obsessed with beautifully strange wide-eyed dolls. You can see her illustrations every month in the french women's magazine Biba. Mijn Schatje is involved on several fronts, as she says "I'm doing nothing and people from all around the world approach me and propose projects" . In December, she will do her first (collective) exhibition at the Art's Factory gallery in Paris. She belongs to Hamsterclub, an illustrator's collective based in Amsterdam. She's preparing a concept album (visual/musical) wih the American rapper Existereo. Next year she will be part of a collective exhibition called C215 during the Spring Poetry Festival in Paris.
