Maxime Touratier is just off-category. The Paris based artist invented a new way to do illustrations, he‚Äôs photographing light shining out of small holes on black paper, drawing most of the time prestige subjects. Touratier refashions photography as if he were a sculptor. He meticulously applies optical and chemical supports to transform contemporary photography, playing with blank spaces, and with spaces around the object in such a way that essence of the object becomes heightened. Maxime Touratier studied at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Bourges, France and received his Masters at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Nantes, France. The über premium touch of Touratier‚Äôs work has created a huge interest in the luxury goods market. Cartier and Guerlain have already used his talent.
